This becomes ‘causative passive form’, or in Japanese ‘使役受け身動詞’ (shieki ukemi doushi).

How to conjugate Causative Passive Form

First, you must conjugate the .

Step 2, replace the final る with られる.

  • 食べ → 食べ → 食べさせ
  • → 行 → 行かせ

Common う verbs (a + せられる)

  • 飲む -> 飲 (のませられる)
  • 書く -> 書 (かかせられる)
  • 読む -> 読 (よませられる)
  • 帰る -> 帰 (かえらせられる)

Another example is 待たされる (またされる) for spoken Japanese and 待たせられる (またせられる) for written Japanese.
