わたしはしょうせつやえいがなどがすきです。
watashi wa shousetsu ya eiga nado ga suki desu.
I like things like novels, movies, and so on.
Example #2

わたしはノート、ペンなどがひつようだ。
watashi wa nooto, pen nado ga hitsuyou da.
I need pens, notebooks and so on.
Example #3

わたしはとてもくるまなどはかえない。
watashi wa totemo kuruma nado wa kaenai.
I can't afford to buy a car (or anything like it).

He talks of things like leaving school and going abroad.
