Learn Japanese grammar: (you ni suru) / (you ni shiteiru). Meaning: to try to; to make sure that ~.

  • (you ni suru) is used to say things like:
    • I’ll/let’s try to ~
    • I’ll/let’s make sure that ~

Different ways to use:

  • ようにする (you ni suru) casual
    • examples 1~2
  • ようにします (you ni shimasu) more polite
    • examples 3~4
  • ようにしている (you ni shiteiru) current state
    • examples 5~6
  • ようにしています (you ni shiteimasu) current state polite
    • examples 7~8
