Learn Japanese grammar: ているところ (teiru tokoro). Meaning: in the process of doing; in the middle of doing.
This can express either:
- now in this exact moment.
- now in general.
It is often followed with だ or です.
- ているところだ (teiru tokoro da).
- ているところです (teiru tokoro desu).
