Learn Japanese grammar: さ (sa). Meaning: -ness ; nominalizer for adjectives.
Adding さ after an adjective it turns it into a Noun.
It is very similar to English words ending in -ess, for example:
やさしい (yasashii) “nice / kind”
やさしさ (yasashisa) “nice-ness / kindness”
さ (sa) is also often used for something measurable, for example:
長い (nagai) “long”
長さ (nagasa) “length”
This can be used as さ (sa) sentence ending particle.
