い-adjective くする

Learn Japanese grammar: (ku suru). Meaning: to make something ~.

Use with い-adjective

This pattern is used after an and makes something whatever the adjective describes.

The い is replaced with く, turning it into an adverb.

  • 大き (ookii) big
  • 大き (ookiku suru) make big

する can also be conjugated as:

  • くします (ku shimasu) more polite
  • くして (ku shite) please make

Use with な-adjective
