Learn Japanese grammar: くする (ku suru). Meaning: to make something ~.
Use with い-adjective
This pattern is used after an い-adjective and makes something whatever the adjective describes.
The い is replaced with く, turning it into an adverb.
- 大きい (ookii) big
- 大きくする (ookiku suru) make big
する can also be conjugated as:
- くします (ku shimasu) more polite
- くして (ku shite) please make
Use with な-adjective
To use with a な-adjective instead use にする (ni suru).
