Learn Japanese vocabulary: 【くる】(kuru)

Meaning: to come (spatially or temporally); to approach; to arrive.

*NOTE* This verb has special conjugation rules which are different than the standard patterns.

来ない -> こない = to not come
来ます -> きます = to come (formal)
来て -> きて = te form
来た -> きた = came (past tense)
