kare wa itsumo hito no hanashi o mattaku kikanai noni, wakatteiru furi o shiteiru.
Even though he never listens to anyone's stories, he always acts as if he understands.

しらないふりをしているけどほんとうはしっっているでしょう?
shiranai furi o shiteiru kedo hontou wa shitteiru deshou?
You're just pretending to not know, but really you do. Right?

かれはせいじについてしっているふりをしているが、ほんとうはしらないだとおもう。
kare wa seiji ni tsuite shitteiru furi o shiteiru ga, hontou wa shiranai da to omou.
He acts like he knows about politics, but I don't think that he really does.

やまださんはどくしんのふりをしているが、けっこんしていてふたりもこどもがいる。
yamada san wa dokushin no furi o shiteiru ga, kekkon shiteite futari mo kodomo ga iru.
Mr. Yamada acts like he is single, but he actually is married and has 2 children.

かのじょがいっしょけんめいつくってくれたりょうりなので、まずいとはいえず、おいしそうなふりをした。
kanojo ga isshokenmei tsukutte kureta ryouri na node, mazui to wa iezu, oishi sou na furi o shita.
Not being able to say the food she worked so hard to make for me was bad, I pretended that it tasted good.
