Learn Japanese grammar: 【にいく】(ni iku). Meaning: to go in order to do something; to go for the purpose of ~

Let’s look at a simple example first:

食べに行く

tabe ni iku.

To go to eat.

Often the kanji form is used (に行く), but the hiragana version can be used as well (にいく).
