わたしはなつやすみであるのをいいことにかいがいをりょこうする。
watashi wa natsuyasumi dearu no o ii koto ni gaikoku o ryokou suru.
I took advantage of summer vacation to travel abroad.

先生がいないのをいいことに朝の授業をサボった。
せんせいがいないのをいいことにあさのじゅぎょうをサボった。
sensei ga inai no o ii koto ni asa no jugyou o sabotta.
Taking advantage of the teacher's absence, I skipped morning class.

私が知らないのをいいことに彼は私をだました。
わたしがしらないのをいいことにかれはわたしをだました。
watashi ga shiranai no o ii koto ni kare wa watashi o damashita.

かれはおかねもちであるのをいいことに、まいにちちがうおんなのひととデートする。
kare wa o kanemochi dearu no o ii koto ni, mainichi chigau onna no hito to deeto suru.
He takes advantage of his wealth and dates different women every day.

せんせいがやさしいのをいいことに、がくせいたちはじゅぎょうちゅうにふざけた。
sensei ga yasashii no o ii koto ni, gakusei tachi wa jugyouchuu ni fuzaketa.
