Learn Japanese grammar: に～を重ねて 【に～をかさねて】(ni~o kasanete). Meaning: success after continuous (effort, work, adjustments, etc.).
This is used to express that you have achieved your goal by repeating difficult or serious challenges.
Other usage: ～に～
It is possible to remove 「を重ねて」and just use the 「に」particle.
This changes to meaning to be more like “after continuous (effort, work, etc.), ~”, though it does not always lead to success (see example 9).
Pattern: Verb (ます stem) ます + に + Verb (て/た form)

くろうにくろうをかさねて、ぼくはここまでせいちょうできた。
kurou ni kurou o kasanete, boku wa koko made seichou dekita.
After a lot of hard work, I was able to grow up to this point.
Example #2
勉強に勉強を重ねて、ようやくN1に合格できた。
べんきょうにべんきょうをかさねて、ようやくN1にごうかくできた。
benkyou ni benkyou o kasanete, youyaku N1 ni goukaku dekita.
After continuously studying hard, I finally passed N1.
Example #3
失敗に失敗を重ねて、ついに新しいカメラのモデルが完成した。
しっぱいにしっぱいをかさねて、ついにあたらしいカメラのモデルがかんせいした。
shippai ni shippai o kasanete, tsuini atarashii kamera no moderu ga kansei shita.
After many failures, a new camera model was finally completed.
