How to use

Noun + にNoun + を重ねて
ni~o kasanete に~を重ねて に~をかさねて jlpt n1 grammar meaning 文法 例文 japanese flashcards

Learn Japanese grammar: 【に~をかさねて】(ni~o kasanete). Meaning: success after continuous (effort, work, adjustments, etc.).

This is used to express that you have achieved your goal by repeating difficult or serious challenges.

Other usage: ~に~

It is possible to remove 「を重ねて」and just use the 「に」particle.

This changes to meaning to be more like “after continuous (effort, work, etc.), ~”, though it does not always lead to success (see example 9).

Pattern: Verb (ます stem) ます + に + Verb (て/た form)
