How to use

い-adjective かれい-adjective かれ

Learn Japanese grammar: (kare~kare). Meaning: sooner or later; more or less.

This must be used with adjectives with opposite meanings.

Common patterns are 「遅かれ早かれ」/「多かれ少なかれ」.

このばんぐみも、おそかれはやかれしちょうしゃにあきられるだろう。
kono bangumi mo, oso kare haya kare shichousha ni akirareru darou.
People will sooner or later become tired of this program, too.

ひとはおおかれすくなかれ、なやみをもっているものだ。
hito wa oo kare sukuna kare, nayami o motte iru mono da.
More or less, everyone has something they are worried about.

かれはしごとでおそかれはやかれせいこうするみこみがある。
kare wa shigoto de oso kare haya kare seikou suru mikomi ga aru.
He is likely to succeed at work sooner or later.
