JLPT 2020 Cancelled Worldwide! How To Refund Your Money

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) scheduled for July 5, 2020 is now officially cancelled worldwide in all countries, including Japan.

In this video, I will talk about this unfortunate news, as well as when is the next JLPT test, and how to get a refund of your money if you already paid for the JLPT.

How to get your refund for JLPT entry fee?

This depends on how you originally paid and registered for the test.

If you paid by credit card, your refund will automatically be processed to the credit card you used to make the payment.

If you paid by 振り込み (furikomi) bank transfer, it will take longer for your refund to be processed. An email will be sent to the email you used to register your JLPT ID in the next month or two. This email will include instructions on how to process your refund.
