Meaning: last night.

This kanji 昨夜 can also be read as (ゆうべ) with the same meaning of last night.

Ironically, the spoken version of ゆうべ can also be written as 夕べ, in which case the meaning changes to evening.

Gotta love the complexity of the Japanese language..
